Camargue Cross Madellion

This is my version of the Carmague cross, a modified version of the cross of Languedoc, le Croix d’Occitania, or the Toulouse Cross. It is the symbol of a region in southern France called the Carmague, a delta area along the southern coast. The design dates back over 1000 years to the time when the region was called Occitania.

I moved from Florida and California to southern France about a year ago and the area is full of very cool history that I find inspiring.

My version is solid sterling silver that I have aged. It’s solid sterling silver and is about two inches long and an inch wide. It is about as thick as two US quarters so its a nice solid piece.

The price noted is without a chain. I have designed several cool chains to match if you are interested.
